I took this photo by setting my camera on my laptop and using the timer option. I then manipulated it in photo shop by adjusting the lighting on the curves, increasing the saturation and adjusting the levels. I then used the palette knife filter and adjusted the stroke size, stroke detail, and softness. I like this picture because it shows the studious side of me, and I like how the viewer's eye goes straight to the yellow highlighter in the middle.
For this picture I increased the blue color balance to give the photo a harsh feel. I also increased the contrast, adjusted the levels, and increased the saturation. I then used the posterize filter and adjusted the posterization, edge intensity, and edge thickness. I like this picture because the face is framed between the drape pull and the fabric drapes.
I manipulated this photo by decreasing the brightness, increasing the contrast, adjusting the levels, and adding saturation. I then used the dry brush filter and cropped the photo so that it only showed my hand.
